Jean-Louis Emond 1957, Montreal, Québec, Canada |

The sculptures of Jean-Louis Émond are extraordinary
and unexpected encouters, brought on by the confrontation
and handeling of different materials: a small bronze head with
a thoughtful gaze emerges from a block of St. Marc limestone;
a steel dress, brushed by the wind, is transformed into lace, etc.
Over the years, his sculptures are shown in Canada, the United States
and Europe.
Jean-Louis Émond lives and works in Montréal.
