Victor De Bourgie
1957, Montreal, Québec, Canada
Victor de Bourgie makes glass sculptures using a completely
revolutionary coldworking technique developed by the artist himself:
laminating with ultraviolet, sculpting with jets of silicon carbide and a
finishing touch with diamond tips and carbide heads. The complete
osmosis of fantastic, organic forms is crystallized in the glass sculptures
that are combined with other materials, creating objects that are at times
smooth and transparent while at others rough and opaque.

Victor de Bourgie lives and works in Montreal,Québec.
